Who runs this site

MyRealSalary is the trading name of an independent publisher based in India. Contact: [email protected].

Estimates, not advice

These figures are estimates based on the information you entered and the 2026/27 rates and thresholds published by HMRC (and, for Scottish taxpayers, the Scottish Parliament). They are general information, not tax, financial or legal advice. Your actual take-home pay can differ, for example because of your tax code, pension arrangements, benefits, student loan plan or payroll timing. Check your payslip, or ask your employer or HMRC, before relying on these figures.

Accuracy

We take reasonable care over the content and calculators on this site, but we do not guarantee that they are complete, accurate or up to date. Rules can change during a tax year.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, this site. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
