Who we are

MyRealSalary is the trading name of an independent publisher based in India. Contact: [email protected]. If you need our legal name and postal address, for example to make a privacy request, email us and we will give them to you.

The calculator

There are no accounts on this site. The pay details you type into the calculators are worked out in your browser and are not sent to us.

What we collect

• Technical data: our host Cloudflare processes your IP address, browser and device details to deliver and protect the site.
• Statistics: Cloudflare Web Analytics counts visits without cookies and gives us aggregate figures only.
• Emails: if you email us, we receive your email address and message and use them to reply to you.
• Advertising: none yet. When adverts are switched on, Google and its partners will use cookies to show and measure ads, and we will update this notice first.

Who receives data

Cloudflare (hosting, security and email forwarding) and Google (email). Cloudflare and Google process data in the United States and other countries under their own privacy terms, so information may be held outside New Zealand.

How long we keep it

Emails: up to 12 months after the conversation ends. Cloudflare and Google keep data as described in their own policies.

Your rights in New Zealand

Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask us for the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. Email us to make a request. If you are not happy with how we deal with a request or complaint, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.

Visitors from the UK and Europe

If you visit from the UK, the European Economic Area or Switzerland, data protection law there also applies, including your right to complain to your local regulator (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office).

Children

This site is not directed at children.
