Who we are

MyRealSalary is the trading name of an independent publisher based in India. Contact: [email protected]. If you need our legal name and postal address, for example to make a request about your information, email us and we will give them to you.

The calculator

There are no accounts. The salary details you type into the calculators are worked out in your browser and are not sent to us.

What we collect

Technical data: our host Cloudflare processes your IP address, browser and device details to deliver and protect the site.
Statistics: Cloudflare Web Analytics, which our host Cloudflare adds to this site's pages, counts visits without cookies and gives us aggregate figures only.
Emails: if you email us, we receive your email address and message and use them to reply to you.
Advertising: none yet. When adverts are switched on, Google and its partners will use cookies to show and measure ads, and we will update this notice first.

Who receives data

Cloudflare (hosting, security, statistics and email forwarding) and Google (email). They may process data outside Australia, including in the United States and India, under their own privacy terms.

How long we keep it

Emails: up to 12 months after the conversation ends. Cloudflare and Google keep data as described in their own policies.

Your choices, requests and complaints

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or to correct or delete it, by emailing us. If you have a privacy complaint, please email us first and we will respond. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au). Australia's privacy law is the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), which includes the Australian Privacy Principles.

Visitors from the UK and Europe

If you visit from the UK, the European Economic Area or Switzerland, data protection law there also applies, including your right to complain to your local regulator (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office).

Children

This site is not directed at children.
