MyRealSalary is the trading name of an independent publisher based in India. It explains UK take-home pay with the working shown, so you can see each deduction and check it against your payslip.

How the figures are checked

Every rate comes from HMRC, GOV.UK or Scottish Parliament publications and is listed with its source on How we calculate, with the date it was last checked. The calculator is tested against hand-worked examples before each update.

Independence

MyRealSalary is an independent website. It is not part of, endorsed by or connected with HM Revenue & Customs, GOV.UK or any other government body.

How the site is funded

This site is free to use. We plan to fund it with advertising served by Google; adverts will be labelled "Advertisements".
